Schenectady – New York Lottery Director Nancy A. Palumbo today introduced Fast Cash Finish, the Lottery’s newest addition to its popular series of racing-themed Instant game tickets. The new game offers players an opportunity to win a top prize of $1,500 and numerous other prizes ranging from $1 to $500. The game went on sale on June 2, 2004. In addition, Director Palumbo introduced details of the Fast Cash Finish Sweepstakes that offers New Yorkers a chance to experience the excitement of thoroughbred racing first-hand.
The $1 Fast Cash Finish Instant ticket prominently features the logos of three of New York’s most exciting thoroughbred race tracks: Aqueduct, Belmont Park and Saratoga and will be available for purchase at more than 15,000 official New York Lottery retailer locations statewide. The odds of winning the $1,500 top prize are 1 in 300,000. The overall odds are 1 in 4.92.
"The Fast Cash Finish ticket marks the 7th consecutive racing-themed ticket that the New York Lottery has produced in celebration of New York’s exciting summer racing season," Director Palumbo said. "Each ticket has proven more popular than the last and we expect that tradition will continue with this exciting new game."
In addition, Director Palumbo released details of the Fast Cash Finish Sweepstakes that offers New Yorkers an opportunity to experience the thrilling sights and sounds of horse racing at historic Saratoga Race Course, the most celebrated thoroughbred track in the nation. The sweepstakes is open to holders of non-winning New York Lottery Fast Cash Finish tickets or any non-winning New York Lottery tickets on sale or open for redemption during the promotion period between June 2 and June 30, 2004.
"Entry forms for the Saratoga Get-Away Sweepstakes are in stores now," Director Palumbo said. "The Lottery will select a total of 50 winners to attend a day at the historic Saratoga Race Course. Past participation in this sweepstakes has been very strong, which tells us that Saratoga is still very much the summer place to be."
Sweepstakes winners will receive one (1) night accommodation; clubhouse admission for two (2); seating and lunch for two (2) at the "At the Rail" pavilion; two (2) Post Parade programs; and $100 spending money.
