Empire State Games

The New York Lottery is the major supporter of the Empire State Games, the first and largest state-run amateur athletic competition in the nation.

The Lottery's sponsorship of the Empire State Games is part of our continuing effort to support education in New York State. The Games serve to remind us that athletics and athletic competition are an important part of any education, teaching our children valuable skills and lessons that will benefit them the rest of their lives.
