New York Lottery Recognizes Educators of the Week (Watertown Area)

Schenectady – The New York Lottery and WWTI Channel 50 recently recognized twenty-six educators from the Watertown area at a ceremony held at the Partridge Berry Inn for the positive impact they’ve had on their students and the field of education. The educators were individually recognized weekly during the 2004-2005 school year as part of the Lottery’s annual Educator of the Week program, which is aired locally on WWTI Channel 50.

“The Educator of the Week program is an opportunity to publicize the outstanding commitment and dedication of our State’s exceptional educators. Too often their hard work is taken for granted,” said Lottery Director Nancy A. Palumbo. “It’s an honor to recognize these individuals who mold our students of today to become the leaders of tomorrow.”

The New York Lottery joins ten television stations weekly around the state to raise awareness of the impact educators have in our community through their efforts in the classroom.
