SCHENECTADY, NY – Mary E. Burke of Caledonia, Livingston County, won $25,000 on the New York Lottery’s NEW YORK YANKEES Instant game.

Burke works as a claims adjuster for Blue Cross Blue Shield. She plans to visit her son and pay bills with her prize. Burke purchased her winning ticket at Harry’s, 3932 Scottsville Rd., Scottsville.

The NEW YORK YANKEES ticket is a $2 instant game that offers players 10 chances to win up to $25,000. The overall odds of winning any prize are 1:4.95.
