November 10, 2009-John Toth of Buffalo, Erie County, won $10,000 playing the New York Lottery’s Cashword Instant game. 

Toth has three children and six grandchildren.  “I plan to visit my family with my prize,” said Toth. 

Toth purchased his winning ticket at Wilson Farms, 584 Ontario St., in Buffalo.  Cashword is a $2 Instant game that offers players 10 chances to win up to $10,000.  The overall odds, of winning any prize are 1:5.04.

The New York Lottery continues to be North America's largest and most profitable Lottery, earning more than $36.7 billion in education support statewide since its founding over 40 years ago.
