November 16, 2009-August Zito of Staten Island, Richmond County, received his prize check totaling $47,807 for matching all five numbers in the New York Lottery’s Take Five drawing on November 6, 2009.
Zito, the father of one, is retired. “When I found out I won, I almost fainted,” said Zito. He plans to pay bills with his prize.
Zito purchased his winning Quick Pick Take Five ticket from Dee’s Place, 607 Forest Ave., in Staten Island. The Take Five numbers for November 6th were:
