March 8, 2010-Harry Todd, Jr. of Altona, Clinton County received his prize check totaling $79,147 for matching all five numbers in the New York Lottery’s Take Five drawing on February 27, 2010. Todd was the sole winner of the top prize.
Todd said he plays Take 5 because he likes the odds. “I know the Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots are much bigger, but the odds of hitting Take 5 are much better,” he said. “I checked the Lottery’s website to see if my numbers came out that night. Needless to say I am extremely happy they did.”
Todd purchased his winning Take Five ticket from Brookside Grocery at 160 West Church Street in West Chazy. The Take Five numbers for February 27th were:
5 – 14 – 22 – 30 – 32
