Powerball Odds and Prizes
NY Powerball offers gargantuan cash prizes including a guaranteed jackpot that starts at $20 million and rolls over until it is won. It also offers a $1 million cash prize for matching five numbers. You can even win with the Powerball alone –that’s right, you don’t have to match any of the main white balls.
If you think the Powerball jackpot is impossible to win, remember that there are several other smaller prize tiers. In fact, the average odds of winning any Powerball prize are 1 in 24.87 overall, with prizes starting high and coming down the fewer numbers you match.
